(EA)2 User's Guide
(EA)2 Diagram Types and Associated Toolboxes

Whenever you create a new diagram or change the type of an existing diagram, you are presented with the following dialog. In it you can select from the various types of UML diagrams, Sparx Extended diagram types, or (EA)2 diagram types.  You may also see other diagram types from other profiles. One of the key reasons for selecting the appropriate diagram type is that they are each associated with a specific toolbox. A brief description and the name of the toolbox associated with it is given below for each of the (EA)2 diagram types.

ChangeDiagramType

Here are descriptions of each of the diagram types. You will find instructions on how to create and maintain them in section below.

(EA)2 provides a series of toolboxes that supply toolobox elements that are specific to certain modeling tasks. Each diagram type, described below, uses one of these toolboxes. This helps to ensure that the appropriate element types are used each modeling task. The diagram's associated toolbox is presented whenever the diagram comes into focus (assuming that you have the toolbox open). You can also select other toolboxes while working on a diagram by clicking on the "More tools…' button at the top of the toobox frame. A description of the toolbox elements associated with each diagram type is also given below.
