Creating New Diagrams and Changing Their Types
Diagrams have a diagram type, which can be one of the built-in UML diagram types or one of the (EA)<sup>2</sup> supplied types. The diagram type dictates what toolbox will be opened for the diagram. You can select another toolbox while the diagram is open, but the default toolbox is always shown whenever the diagram is first opened or regains focus.
Creating New Diagrams
When creating a new diagram, you are presented with a dialog, on which you may select the type of diagram you wish to create. Click on EA2 Diagrams on the left of the dialog and then select the appropriate type from the list on the right.
Changing Diagram Types
Sometimes, the diagram type may not be the correct type. To fix this, open the diagram and then select Diagram | Change Type... from the main menu. Click on EA2 Diagrams on the left of the dialog and then select the appropriate type from the list on the right.
