Roadmap and Project Diagram
This diagram type is used to model Roadmaps, Roadmap Phases, and Projects.

  • Project– a folder where Project artifacts may be placed. This will be elaborated in future versions (EA)<sup>2</sup>.
  • Roadmap – the definition of a roadmap which is for a specific purpose. For example, you can have a Roadmap to expand on the functionality of a given Business Process. You could have another Roadmap for the introduction of a new technology set.
  • Roadmap Phase - shows the state of the architecture at a given point in time (as-is and multiple future states). This is not in the toolbox. You create a Roadmap Phases by creating and instance of a Roadmap. This ties the all of the Roadmap Phases to the same Roadmap.
