(EA)2 User's Guide
(EA)2 Reference Model

To see addtional context and "in-place" documentation, we have included the HTML representation of an architectural reference model. This subject of this model is a ficticious Sports Club Management System (SCMS). It seems to be a fairly neutral domain with which most everyone can identify. SCMS helps clubs to set up their sports programs (football [soccer], American football, baseball, cricket, etc) by establishing leagues, divisions within those leagues, and teams within the divisions. In order to create evenly talented recreational teams, it rates the players according the certain statisics that are user defined, and then assigns them to teams. Once the program of leagues, divisions, and teams is developed, the games are scheduled and played and statistics captured.

The HTML view contains numerous comments focusing on providing guidance on how to create the (EA)2 model elements and diagrams. The SCMS model itself is part of the OAD training on how to model enterprise architecture in general, and how to use Enterprise Architect and (EA)2 in particular.

You can view the HTML out of the SCMS model here.
